Do you know if the human spacecraft will be a boilerplate simulator or an actual prototype with internal systems?

From Chinese friends, who are preparing philatelic commemorating envelopes for the upcoming CZ-7 maiden flight I learned, that landing of the return module is planned near the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.

This means that the new generation descent module will have an orbital flight, not a sub-orbital one as some have speculated.

yes it was stated in a different thread that it would be most like USA's EFT-1 mission.

The spacecraft is being recovered on land, although water recovery has been proposed for the operational version. I wonder if it has any cushioning mechanism (air bags, landing rockets) or is just going to plop down. Maybe they will decide to stick with land recovery, which would reduce costs.

What are the chances that there will be live launch coverage?
(It's the maiden launch of CZ-7 and the premiere launch from WSLC.)

Well it seems that the launch date (and especially the time) isn't nailed down with certainty so take them with a grain of salt.
In any case the state TV news channel have released some payload mate footage today so rollout should be coming soon. Now since many of the payloads aren't confirmed I need to look for clues on what they could be....
