It's Tony De La Rosa, ...I don't create this stuff, I just report it.

After a while, all the episodes were centered around Will, the Dr (did he have a first name?) and the robot and the crazy predicaments they got into.  Usually because Will kept walking backwards, looking up, as he entered unexplored regions.  Thereby stumbling into the clutches of whatever the hazard-of-the-week was.  I remember yelling at the screen, "watch where you are going, idiot!"

If memory serves (too lazy to Google), first season was the planet they crashed landed onto and the episodes revolved a lot on finding deposits to mine and make fuel, grow food, fix the Jupiter II, and not kill the saboteur Dr. Smith. Smith kept getting the way of their efforts. Also, it was B&W.

Season two started the Three Stooges routines (Will, Smith; Robot), planet hopping to get home, and color.

There were also the episodes that hit the common themes running through series of the day, including (along with Star Trek, at least one of Bonanza/High Chaparral/Gunsmoke, Gilligans Island) Richard Connell's "The most dangerous game"

It is all well and good to quote those things that made it past your confirmation bias that other people wrote, but this is a discussion board damnit! Let us know what you think! And why!
