STS-51G Discovery, 30 years ago

30 years ago, the Discovery flight STS-51G took 3 different nationalities: Americans of course, but also French, Patrick Baudry, first to fly in the US shuttle, but second French astronaut, and a Saudi, Prince Al Saud, nephew of the late King Fahd of Saudi Arabia

Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was a nephew of then Saudi King Fahd. He is the third son of the current King of Saudi Arabia, His Highness Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
