.@OneWeb's injection altitude is around 450km (), they haven't had any in-orbit failures yet, they did not commit to any injection altitude, they do have grappling fixtures for removal and they've a lower risk profile due to significantly less satellites.

This is the account run by that one SpaceX-hating consultant, right? If OneWeb has a collision, the debris will be up there for a MUCH longer time.

I haven't done an update on the OneWeb internet megaconstellation for a while. Orbit raising is now almost complete for Launch 5, with Launch 6 and  7 on the way. Sats 41 and 50 did not complete orbit raising; 50 is performing orbit maintenance burns

Sources have named the date of the next launch of "Soyuz" from the Kuru cosmodrome.

Sources said that the next launch of the Soyuz rocket from the Kuru cosmodrome is planned for the end of November.

01:05 08/06/2021

MOSCOW, August 6 - RIA Novosti. The next launch of the Russian Soyuz carrier rocket from the Kourou cosmodrome in French Guiana is scheduled for late November, another launch is expected before the New Year, but it may be postponed until 2022, two sources in the rocket and space industry told RIA Novosti.

"On November 23 from the Guiana Space Center, it is planned to launch two European Galileo navigation satellites with a Soyuz-ST rocket," the agency's source said.

According to him, another launch of Soyuz-ST is scheduled for December 29 with 34 British communication satellites OneWeb , but it may be postponed until January 2022.

Another source confirmed this information, adding that the OneWeb satellites were originally supposed to fly first in November, and the Galileo launch was planned in December.

Since October 2011, 25 Russian Soyuz-ST missiles have been launched from the Kuru cosmodrome. One of the launches in August 2014 ended with the launch of the European navigation satellites Galileo into an off-design orbit due to the accident of the Fregat upper stage.

At the Baikonur cosmodrome, the refueling of the "Fregat" has been completed

08/06/2021 11:57

At the Baikonur cosmodrome, the filling of the Fregat upper stage with fuel and compressed gases has been successfully completed. The work was carried out by specialists from the Center for Testing Fueling Complexes of the Yuzhny Space Center (a branch of the Center for Operation of Ground-Based Space Infrastructure Objects, part of the State Corporation Roscosmos).

Technological refueling operations lasted seven days at the refueling station of site No. 31. At present, the Fregat was transported to the assembly and test building of site No. 112 for final operations before the assembly of the spacecraft (OneWeb vehicles, upper stage, head fairing).

The launch of the Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket with 34 OneWeb spacecraft is scheduled for August 20, 2021 from the Vostok launch complex of the Baikonur cosmodrome.

The Fregat upper stage, manufactured by the Lavochkin Research and Production Association (part of Roskosmos), ensures the effective implementation of all tasks to launch one or more satellites into working orbits or trajectories departing from the Earth. The entire process of launching is carried out autonomously, the control algorithm is capable of overcoming abnormal situations. The highest reliability and almost perfect launching accuracy provide the upper stage with undeniable competitive advantages in the global launch services market.
