SpaceX looks to have proven that it can, when outside circumstances allow, support flight rates of up to two a month. I grant you that we had a blip or two this year with things like helium tanks, but the blips are becoming rarer and rarer.
Congratulations to all involved in today's launch. Now that y'all have the launch rate thing pretty well licked, I'm looking forward to seeing you get the booster recovery thing licked, too!
I still believe.

I missed this launch but I just started a new job! I am glad we got this launch off before May. I will consider it an early 30th Birthday candle. Good luck on the Pad Abort we need to get a manned space program in this country

Here's hoping for lots more "flying down the nominal"[1]...
.....
1 - do we have a new catch phrase???
Sounds like something we should make into a Party thread title...

And congrats to SpaceX for another solid step on the path to the future of Spaceflight!
I can't wait to see the pad abort go as smoothly as this launch.

Thanks to Steve, Chris, and Lar for the coverage, excellent as always.
Falcon 9 is the most flown vehicle this year- again!
Also, thanks to my wife for waking me up at T-1min, I had a long day yesterday and after the first hold thought I had time for a nap...

thanks to my wife for waking me up at T-1min, I had a long day yesterday and after the first hold thought I had time for a nap...
I had a professional society meeting to attend on Monday evening, and the original T-0 had launch occurring just before I would arrive. When they had the weather hold, I forgot about it and went into the meeting. Suddenly at around 7pm I remembered, checked the status and saw they were counting and just minutes away. The meeting hadn't started yet, was in social meet and greet mode, with about a hundred people milling around the room. But we had the projectors running, so I had them switch the stream onto the walls, and the whole room got to watch the launch!
Congrats to SpaceX on what seems like the most nominal countdown yet. See you at pad abort ...

Congratulations to SpaceX and thanks to Chris, Steve, Lar, and all the contributors on NSF.
People are again up and down on the 2015 poll, about why their guess is still the best, but what is definite is that SpaceX is hitting quite the pace.
And the anticipated wait for the next "launch" is only a week!
(Figure does NOT include the abort tests)
