Doh! didn't notice that till afterwards. I'll make some streaks and maybe add a few astronauts as well.

Did a few extra shots of a lunar landing and the ship with her nose open.

That's exactly what I was constantly thinking when building this.  :'(

I've put the blend file up on TurboSquid if anyone wants a copy.

Hi. Just seen your nice work and logged in to have fun and share. It's incredible how these designs are so versatile. When I readed 'Sombras en Titán' ('Shadows on Titan'), thought about the protagonist ship 'Lorentz', inmediately saw 'Ithacus', 'ROMBUS', and 'Hyperion' in my mind, so commissioned Finnish artist Juuso Laasonen this work:

Incredibly, it seems that this design suits even (as in this case), a sci-fi ship intended to be sent to Titan. It is like 'Ithacus, ROMBUS, HYperion and Deimos' yes, a mix of all of them) grows a little up and go nuclear. The best part was that following the novel's description, it fits the thing, only by totally changing the internal arrangement (reducing room for crew, which is hibernated) and adding a supplement. In the book, a nose docking point is described, so he put it. On the engine, I was adviced by: http://smpritchard.deviantart.com/
By the way, When I talked to the author of the novel, he says that never knew about these proposals.
