BUMPA CZ-2C launcher has been fully stacked at a pad at JSLC. Stacking was reported as completed today.
There will be one more Chinese satellite launch within this month - a Long March 2C has been stacked at Jiuquan. Apparently it and another LM-2C were sent there in late August.
Another SJ-11? Or something more....surprising?

Ok guys. Rui is on vacations this week and has sent me a draft in case of a launch.
I'd appreciate it if I could be PMed if there's an update to when this will occur and if there's a change from this being a Long March-2C with Shijian 11-07 (as currently assumed).

Copy that! I personally don't see this launching until a few days later given that the pad was only last used 18 days ago (which is their current record, BTW

).

Maybe it's launching at ~05:15 UTC on September 29?

Probably too long range to be for KZ - in fact it seems that the drop zones are identical to that of SJ-11-06 earlier this year.

Zones are also exactly the same as announced in July 2013 for Shijian 11-05.
Launch time planned seems to be 05:28 UTC.

Seems to be moving up one day to September 28, same launch time. (probably weather related - the last two Chinese launches were both moved up one day based on weather predictions at LRR, as reported post-launch)

JIUQUAN, Gansu, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- China successfully launched an experimental satellite into preset orbit from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in its northwestern gobi desert on Sunday.
The Shijian-11-07 was boosted by a Long March-2C carrier rocket at 1:13 p.m. Beijing Time. The satellite, which was developed by China Spacesat Co. Ltd under the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, will be used to conduct scientific experiments in space.
This was the 194th flight of the Long March rocket series.

This is apparently the 200th orbital launch attempt made by a DF-5 ICBM derivated rocket!

This is apparently the 200th orbital launch attempt made by a DF-5 ICBM derivated rocket!
My count is 206 launches which were intended to reach LEO - this excludes the foreign launches of Chinese satellites. Sounding rockets, launch vehicle tests intended to be sub-orbital and the ASAT weapons are also excluded from this count.
There were 2 CZ-1 launches, 3 KT-1 launches and 1 KZ launch. So subtracting these - yes, 200 is the correct figure for the FB-1, CZ-2, CZ-3 and CZ-4 families of launch vehicles, all derived from the DF-5!
