Anybody in the Florida area want to get together for the OrbComm launch? I am working a temporary / long term assignment in Miami and considering driving to KSC for the OrbComm OG2 launch next Thursday (backup launch date is Friday).

PM to me if interested.

With the shuttle, there were KSC passes that got you past the gate. Is such a thing done now / possible on short notice?

I feel like I'm going a bit mad.  Could someone who understands the data structures help out a bit here? The relevant MMBs are at the bottom in case the ones in the wiki change, if you need to see what's going on.

Part 13, frame 242.  Used to be:
12:12:-3,19:20:43995,43:29:-3

SwissCheese pulled out a bit more data from it, but for simplicity's sake lets say the new 242 is:
12:12:-3,19:20:43995

Just removing the null block at the end of the frame.

This causes absolutely no changes to frame 243 or 244.

Then we get to 245.  With the old frame 242, it did not play* without the mmb 43:29:-3 applied to it.
With the new 242, it doesn't play unless you get rid of that 43:29:-3.

So we have old version with two frames ending with 43:29:-3, and the new version that is identical except to remove those two commands

The old version, all the frames play out normally.
The new version, 247, 249, 250, 252, 253 and 254 all fail to play.

This is problematic, and extremely confusing.  I've noticed an occasional frame that wouldn't display before, but this is the first time I've seen half a sequence go bad because of changes frames earlier in the set.  Something very weird is going on here!  Help!

*By 'not play' I mean that when the editor hits it, the whole frame blurs very slightly and none of the changes in the p frame are applied.

@Quialiss -

Does this work better? 43:29:-2:0:0:0:0:12:-6

I have noticed that the frame at 43:29 appears to be used as the filler for pFrames ... about a third of those random non-error boxes sprinkled in the image will match 43:29. Perhaps try giving it a color (12, -6 is a gray-blue like water) and code it -2 instead of -3.

Do you have a frame/set that this works on?  I've just tried 43:29:-2:0:0:0:0:50:100 which is a rather noticeable shade, and I don't see it used as filler anywhere in part 13.

I didn't even say anything! :)

Yet.............just now:

I have a very good idea of how SpaceX can show their appreciation for all the hard work NSFers have done.  ;)

So do I sir, so do I! ;D

*Cough* Several SpaceXers known to me need to check their messages! :)

Apparently the Wikispaces API doesn't allow file uploads.  >:(

The auto-generated MMBs are uploaded here, in case you need to track down a bug:

http://adama.nocdirect.com/~wronkiew/spx_crs3/mmbs/

IainCole, can you change the youtube uploader to grab http://adama.nocdirect.com/~wronkiew/spx_crs3/landing_clockfix_3hr.mp4 ? I can then move the trigger to the 3hr script.

Done

Request for the web editor:

Allow switching between frames when the 'Isolate frame' box is checked.  Saving the isolated p frames and flipping between them to get alignment correct is the only p frame related thing I still have to do in an outside editor, getting rid of that step would make finalizing alignments so much less painful.

I can do this but it will probably be prohibitively slow as it stands. I might be able to make a change over the weekend to make this possible.

I will swear it used to work that way a few weeks ago (using 43:29 as filler in pFrames). I was working on what is now iFrame 221. I checked and it no longer behaves that way. Sorry.

This is everyone who either contributed/was named as a contributor on the wiki.  If I missed anyone I'm  sorry!  33 in all, though I have probably missed out on people who were involved in productive discussion here on the forum.

FYI, I just bought a couple SpaceX tshirts, you may want to order a size larger than you normally do, as they are "snug" (unless you like tight tshirts...)  congrats all on the repair work, wish I understood more of the "naughty bits" of what you are doing!!

I sent my list to Chris by PM. The top 5 were easy. The next 5 were a little tougher. The third 5 were tough calls. Then, I gave 5 more runners-up.

No, I won't post my list.  8)
