That be it folks - Project Orion!!!..
So get used to the Orion Command Module and Service Modules and the Orion Lunar Surface Access Module for names now.
Actually, the official name for the CEV/LSAM is Project Contsellation. That has been the name ever since it was announced to the public in Jan. 2004.
The name is for the CEV and the ISS missions.
Contsellation?
Project Constellation i think is the 'all-encompassing' name for the 'generic' systems, but I think you will find that Project Orion takes over for maning coventions besides Project title. It will probably be an "Orion CM/SM" docking to ISS... Like Skylab - the Apollo CM/SM was still named/described as that - not the Skylab CM/SM. No matter...
It is not the name of the LSAM or the lunar missions. It will be the Orion CEV docking to the ISS

It may not be the name of the LSAM but it is the name of the missions.
NASA intends to use the moniker Orion as both the title for its next generation manned craft, the Crew Exploration Vehicle (CEV), and as the project name. This approach is modeled after the 1960's program when Apollo Command Modules launched astronauts under Project Apollo.
The above is excerpted from our article (and is the source for this discussion):
Project Orion to follow Apollo to the MoonConstellation remains the umbrella organization under which Orion, Ares, etc. all fall. When Orion missions are going to the Moon, Constellation may be planning other projects, too.
