Heh. Got an advert for Dove soap with the same woman as the UK advert, but this time she's speaking Russian! ;D

Anyway....World Cup on at the moment. Seems the Russian for football, is football! :)

There's a small screen shot of Angara as they move through the news.

I don't think they are going to cover this properly until a few mins to launch. Just lots of political stuff at the moment.

Not much evidence of engine chill down either ... coverage very laid back.

Some things I think I understood : A new (unique) launch pad has been developed for Angara, the same pad can be used for all versions of the rocket - Light, Medium, Heavy.

Any word on launch window duration? Presumably since it's not orbital, it's pretty wide.

Correct (according) to webcast. There's a pause of the launch sequence right now.

Yeah, the news anchor seemed to be getting messages about a hold there. Now to a VT.

Automatic hold of sequence.

A hour delay.

Unique, like the Delta IV pads at both the Cape and Vandenberg? :)

As far as I can understand from the webcast, the launch has been delayed for tomorrow.

Offline Chris Bergin

Putin giving his military man some sort of "permission" to delay!
