NASA Television to Air Upcoming Space Station Cargo Ship Activities
NASA Television will air live the departure of an unpiloted Russian cargo spacecraft and the launch and docking of another to resupply the International Space Station (ISS) Monday, April 7, and Wednesday, April 9.
The ISS Progress 54 cargo ship, which arrived at the orbiting laboratory in February, will undock from the space station's Pirs docking compartment at 9:58 a.m. EDT April 7. It will move well away from the station for experimental tests before its planned deorbit into Earth's atmosphere Friday, April 18. NASA TV coverage of the undocking will begin at 9:45 a.m.
On April 9, the ISS Progress 55 cargo craft will launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at 11:26 a.m. (9:26 p.m. in Baikonur) on an expedited six-hour journey to the orbital outpost. NASA TV coverage of the launch will begin at 10:15 a.m. Later that day, the incoming cargo craft, loaded with almost 3 tons of food, fuel and supplies for the space station crew, will dock to Pirs at 5:16 p.m. NASA TV coverage of docking will begin at 4:45 p.m.

Tried asking elsewhere but can't find an answer - why is Progress-M s/n #427 flying before #423-426? (testing future improvements for the Progress-MS?)

Nice article Chris.
Just a little remark : Soyouz-U PVB is used since march 1980, so this is not very "recent"

Recent launches have used the Soyuz-U PVB version, which features additional fireproofing.

Apparently the two recent ISS Pre-Determined Debris Avoidance Maneuvers (PDAM) meant that this Progress' launch time had to be shifted at short notice, such that there were some worries that it can't fly at the optimum time for the 6 orbit quick rendezvous and had to shift back for arrival in 2 days time!

http://spacestationlive.nasa.gov/ now shows the station back in momentum management attitude control mode, and rates are close to zero. Sadly the ADCO display no longer seems to provide absolute roll/pitch/yaw values, but I assume they are all back to normal as well.

I guess no-body has interest in the undocking of a spacecraft?

Progress M-23M will undock today at 21:40 UTC - NASA TV will cover that starting from 21:30 UTC. It will again participate in the Radar-Progress experiment (from July 26 to July 31) for measuring the effects of propellant exhaust on the Earth's ionosphere. De-orbiting is scheduled on August 1.

The Progress M-23M spacecraft has successfully ended its flight by making a successful deorbit maneuver following the completion of engineering tests in orbit that were completed over the past week.

Tried asking elsewhere but can't find an answer - why is Progress-M s/n #427 flying before #423-426? (testing future improvements for the Progress-MS?)
I think that №427 was to be the last Progress-M? It was ordered under a dedicated contract in November 2011. It was to cost the same as №423.
Создание, развёртывание и эксплуатация российского сегмента Международной космической станции в части изготовления резервного корабля. (Шифр: ОКР «МКС (ТТО-резерв)»)

August 2011 - Progress-M №421, №422, №423, №424, №425 and №426 ordered.
November 2011 - Reserve Progress-M №427 ordered.
July 2012 - Progress-M №425 changed to Progress-MS №431, and Progress-M №426 to Progress-MS №432.
December 2012 - Progress-MS №431 changed back to Progress-M №425, and №432 to №426. New contract for Progress-MS №431, №432, №433, №434 and №435.
December 2013 - Progress-MS №434 and №435 not required. Contract amended to include Progress-M №428 and №429.
December 2014 - New contract for Progress-MS №434, №435, №436, №437 and №438.
