Apparently, this launch is the Return to Flight for the CZ-2D, after the mishap during last December's launch of the first pair of GaoJing-1 satellites.

Five days before launch date...
Looking back at the VRSS-1 launch thread, there was more publicity before that launch than appears to be for this launch (at least content copied/linked to this launch thread).
I understand that the Venezuelan media is preoccupied at the moment...but what about PR for CAST?
Or, has the launch been delayed?

After continuous failures, CASC including CAST is busy with Space systems-Closed Loop Problem Solving Management. Considering the 19th CPC National Congress, a key meeting of the party, will be held in October, I really doubt if any launch will happen before that

I'm not familiar with what failed on these two.
Can you please clarify?
Shijian-10: something wrong with an ascent because an argument of perigee of satellite was 315 deg instead of usual 150 deg.
Pegasus-1: the fourth stage during second burn has raised orbit instead of lowering it and Pegasus-1 has separated in a wrong orbit.
