Dragon Endeavour Feedback?
« on: 03/01/2014 04:20 pm »
I see Dragon Wings is releasing their last shuttle this month... http://www.dragonmodelsusa.com/dmlusa/prodd.asp?pid=DRW56393

I can't find any mention of their other releases in the forum, has anyone put one together with some feedback?

It's not a kit, so no assembly required. Prior to Endeavour, the same set was released with Discovery or Atlantis.

The shuttle, MLP and crawler are separate pieces. The shuttle is basically the same model as with previous Dragon 1:400 releases but the addition of the MLP/crawler really enhances its display (as opposed to a generic base).

The MLP and crawler are nicely detailed for a mass-produced model. The major diversion is that the exhaust vents (holes) in the MLP are not open (in part to support the shuttle).

Pictured, my own (Discovery) among some shuttle pad artifacts and crawlerway rocks. The cS thread about these models can be found here.

It is. It is one half of a frangible nut used in the launch of STS-31.
