It's good to see that SpaceX logo on station at last.

Now I can't wait to see those Easter Bunnies float out of the Dragon when they open the hatch :P

I am still surprised they haven't moved the Dragon logo to the trunk from the array covers. Then we would have product placement for Dragon in space, too.

If they did that it would cover the radiators, which would probably present more of a concern for thermal properties than does the SpaceX logo over the hatch.

Possibly.  I have seen some old graphics that had the logo on the trunck over the radiators.  They must have changed it because of that.

Watching the replay today I noticed the Dragon seamed to be flashing a morse code D with her strobes. -.. -.. -..
hehhe, that is a funny easter egg that I would totally see SpaceX doing.

FWIW, an acquaintance of mine who monitors such things says the USCG has been issuing Marine Information Broadcasts about a large floating hazard about 200 miles off Savannah.

If that can be confirmed, that's not party thread, that's the main threads!

Let me know how solid that info is, as it's fascinating if it's the stage!

If the stage is still floating that would be incredible!

This source is military.

He says Coast Guard Sector Charleston SC started broadcasting notices on channel 22A at 1800 Local yesterday. They reported a large floating hazard approximately 200 NM off Savannah. As of 0800 Local this morning they were still issuing notices,

He's off duty now and doesn't know if they are still broadcasting.

Might be worth checking out.

Apparently, during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Stennis, Gwynne Shotwell hinted that the stage had broken up.  The headline is at another site that went behind paywall awhile back, unfortunately.

I hope, paraphrasing Mark Twain, "the rumors of first stage breakup have been greatly exaggerated" and the USCG report really is about the Falcon.

No paywall, but I know what site you were talking about.

Dunno if she's talking part of the pics or part of the Falcon 9.

Quote
Johnson: Have you found it yet?

Shotwell: “Yes, we’ve found it.”

Johnson: Can you tell us what you found?

Shotwell: Not at this time, I haven’t seen all the photos. We’ve seen parts (laughs)!”

Johnson: Is there going to be video or photos released?

Shotwell: “I think we have some video. We didn’t have any real-time telemetry and video, so I haven’t seen it yet, I haven’t been back in the office.”

I interpret it simply enough - she's seen some of the photos, spacex as a whole has seen parts of the returned stage.

I seem to recall a mention they would try it then, and it would have legs as well, but I can't for the life of me remember where exactly. It was on NSF, though.
