I was trying to figure out why that didn't look all that silly - and then I realized.  It looks like a box of Crayolas ...

Shotwell still promising 9 launches this year... April fools?

I daresay that the planets are aligned for the CRS-3 launch.  ;)

1. Mars will be closest to Earth for the 2013/4 window on April 14 at 13:53 UTC (8 hours before launch).
2. Total lunar eclipse will happen on April 15 (greatest eclipse 07:45 UTC, <10 hours after launch, visible all over the Americas).

Looks like it also has a decent chance of beating the ISS MDM issues as well at this moment.  ::)

However, this is an instantaneous launch window, and  SpaceX rarely goes on the first try. No chance to recycle the system, for another attempt. The other bad news is, it looks likes weather problems for the Friday backup. If they can't execute Monday it will be another long wait.  :(

No pressure.

Well we're almost there folks. Of course, it's an instantaneous window, so getting off first time is going to be hard, but between the ISS issues, Evil Sewing Machines and Range issues, we're a day away from some more Dragon action.

Full thread realignments, including launch day live, in work tonight.
