Say hello to party thread, kiss goodbye to staying under our 10,000gb monthly bandwidth allowance (again!) ;)

Anything goes, within reason, to keep the main threads tidy.

It's about the mission and it's a party, so if feel like this:

Don't post in here. This is not for grumpy people.

However, if you feel like this:

This thread is all for you.

2014 is the year leading up to Spacex flavored Kool-Aid. It's kind of like 1986 was going to be for the Space Shuttle only that didn't go so well. If Spacex gets to the end of this year with half a dozen flights, at least test fires FH, has a successful pad abort test, the future will be bright indeed. This is another important step on that path to my full blown fan-man-dom.

I would just like to say that this thread title suits me just fine.  Hopefully the schedule won't be hosed any further and this bird will go on time.

Second image in the top post is what SpaceXers look like on a Monday morning! ;D First picture is clearly Chris trying to get a soccer reference in here? What's the stadium? Looks like a castle! ;)

No way! SpaceXers don't wear suits. They wear "Occupy Mars" t-shirts and - like in Logan's Run - get sent to "the arena" when they hit 30! ;)

Stadium is the San Siro, in Milan.

Blimey, this really is a party thread! ;)

I was thinking more along the lines of, a soft water splashdown of the first stage & Chris looking at the bandwidth bill, from all of us in the stands, watching all the pre & post updates, by refreshing the webpages.....

Nope, no T shirt ordered YET.

I got sent to the old Nicosia Airport (Blue Beret Camp) in Cyprus, at the ages of 29 & 31.

The Brit REME crew, partied it up with us, on our branch Regimental Birthday, at least we are finally back to RCEME now. RCEME = Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers.

Neo I've been thinking this most of the day!

HOWEVER this would need to be a 2 parter...  The flight they actually try to land on land would have to be called "... and she knows how to use them"

Well, she still is going to use them in this flight.  Use them to deploy them and possibly help with the spin.
