In 2012 the next scheduled Proton launches were to be blok 51 in 2013, then blok 54 in 2014. In the same year a Proton was ordered for blok 54.

The schedule from 2012 was odd because of the gap in the blok numbers. However it now looks like the numbers are allocated on a per launch basis. For 2013 blok 51 was renumbered to 48; but following the failure that number was reallocated to the next Soyuz launch.

anik corrects himself : Bloc DM-03 n°3L has not been delivered to Baikonur. It is still in RKK Energyia, and it could stey there until next year, since the launch could be delayed.

What happens to the Proton-M and DM upper stage if all remaining Glonass-M satellites are launched individually on Soyuz?
Would it be re-purposed for another launch campaign?Cross-post of an observation re: November 3 Glonass-M launch and re: the Proton reserved for a triple Glonass-M launch.
All Glonass Proton launches also have an alternate payload because they are launch on need. The remaining Glonass-M's are already in Plesetsk.

Normally, a triple launch in the 2nd plane would have made sense.
But the ground stock of satellites is small and the fear of another Proton failure is great. -

They would be reassigned hence Specktr-RG, Electro-L 3 for example which were reassigned from Zenit.

A recent tender has been issued for three launches of Soyuz rockets with GLONASS-M 14Ф113 satellites. Looks like Proton-M will not be used for the final three.
