Indeed. Falcon 9 v1.1 provably works, so just glue three of them together. Add some struts. How hard can it be?  :P

I'm still not as relaxed and calm as I'd like to be during these launches but that one appeared as clean and nominal as any  launch I've ever seen.

'relaxed and calm' doesn't quite describe my state when watching a SpaceX launch.. despite ten in a row. when I can be as 'relaxed and calm' watching one of their launches as I am for and Atlas or a Delta... it'll be time for ULA to panic!

congratulations SpaceX. here's to ten more, and the rest.

Way to go SpaceX and everyone associated with this launch!

Even though I have nothing to do with SpaceX, I still get a lump in my throat and my heart races every time they the count down passes T-3 minutes and all the way until we get confirmation that the S/C has achieved a nominal orbit.

I am also keeping my fingers crossed for news of some additional (positive) F9R testing on the booster and I can't wait for the landing legs to make an integrated appearance!

Thanks also to NSF for the live coverage.

That launch was the second only to the site record, which was the first GTO launch. News site seemed busier than the previous, however. William's article is already into six figures.

Snapshot from the forum right now....I think we peaked at S/C Sep.
