I'm building OV-101 to resemble her original 70s look.
Any suggestions on sanding the main engines to resemble the actual simulated ones on Enterprise?

I did a 1/100 scale Tamiya as the Enterprise last summer and had the fun of sanding the engines. I tried carving a bit with an X-acto knife to make it easier to sand, but two band aids later, I just sanded until they were smooth. It took a while, but it looked great in the end. (no pun intended)
