PLEASE NOTE THAT WE EXPECT THE SITE TO BE VERY BUSY ON LAUNCH DAYS FOR SPACEX MISSIONS. WE *MAY* RESTRICT IT TO FORUM MEMBERS ONLY - WITH NO ACCESS TO THE FORUM FOR GUESTS - WHEN THE SITE BECOMES TOO BUSY. READ THIS: http://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?topic=31697.0) The new servers have been coping well, so we have not had to implement this yet, but it's impossible to predict demand.

Go SpaceX! Go Falcon 9! Go Upper Stage (twice!) Go SES-8!

Here is a zipped mp3 recording of the pre-launch teleconference from Sunday with Musk, Shotwell and SES:

Did anybody listen to the SpaceX/SES phone call*?  What was the part about being able to increase the engines to 160,000 lbs sea level thrust?  Have we ever heard that before?

Weather report is looking good.  Down to a 10% chance of violating constraints at launch with the primary concern being liftoff winds.

All nominal at last check. Prop loading should be completed in 30 mins. Then into topping.

Modification to the countdown sequence to mitigate pressurization issues.

Confirmed (as was in L2) they didn't opt to changeout the LOX vent valve.
