Practically tackled the UPS driver to get it :)

An incredible book. I've been immersed in it since ripping apart the envelope... Many thanks to the hard work you had to have put into it! Bundle this with the next version of SSM (if it ever comes out) and that would really ring the cash register!

Just got a copy of this today and even from reading the first few pages it's one of the best shuttle books I've come across (and I've read quite a few). A must have book for all Shuttle fans.

Hello all.

I am very pleased to announce that the ebook version of the book is now available from the publisher's web site here

For those who prefer digital bits to paper, this is what you were waiting for  ;D

ps: do not forget to leave a feedback once you have read the book.

Frankly speaking I ceased my collaboration with it long ago, since I found that became something silly and not longer professional.

Currently I cooperate only with International level forums.

My copy arrived this morning. On quick look, this looks like one of the best and most technical books I've seen. It's near-Jenkins level. Amazing.

I've now read about 1/3 of the book, from the beginning. This is the first book ever, that has explained the SSME startup sequence and its difficulties so that non rocket engineers can understand it. Without delving into numeric details too much.

And many other things too.

I highly recommend this book.

PDF is the only sensible cross-platform format, although not as open as it should be. The others are too proprietary/tied to a set of devices/etc. PDF is the way to go.

Well, back in 2003 maybe :) There's no reason a book publisher would not have the iOS / Amazon book reader formats also available these days. My only thought is that many of the images and especially line drawings wouldn't translate well regardless of the format. Paper still has advantages...

I've finished this excellent book and will write a short review for it. Notably, it's a good idea to post here and on the Amazon site.

Seems like they have an EPUB version up now as well. Can anyone confirm that the formatting and illustrations are all fine? I'd prefer to know it's properly readable before forking over 36 euros for it...
