I dunno, thread title seems more apt now than ever :)
Hence the suggestion. I get a feeling the title might have jinxed this launch. ;)

I'm inclined to agree on the need for a change. All that happens thus far is restarts. It hasn't worked yet so maybe we need to make it more in line with "Just Freaking Start".

thinking "Just press the button".. thinking of a tweet today... "wuss, just launch the damn thing, be a man" to Elon..

You may want to try this....

Hey old china, we’d like this ainaaa to end, so could you please get that chick to fly soon, so we can all say Hamba Kahle to her….

And I totally don't get any of the references in that.
LEO is the ocean, not an island (let alone a continent). We create cruise liners to ride the oceans, not artificial islands in the middle of them. We need a physical place, which has physical resources, to make our future out there.

Me either. Maybe it's a newSpace oldSpace thing? Na...  Anyway, I still don't know if they are going for Saturday or not... I am rooting for it though...

This is fun. We're witnessing why this may be the last ever party thread.

Because everyone is generally unconscious or incarcerated by the time a party has gone on this long? I don't think I can stand another scrub.

Why so, I do not see any RIOTs happening.......... The intermission entertainment, between launch attempts, is a bit off though.

This is fun. We're witnessing why this may be the last ever party thread.

I'd be saddened if that were the case.  I think these party threads help with the NSF "community building" by giving a look into the various personalities on the site - without polluting the "information" threads.

And it IS fun!  Nothin' wrong with that ...

Thanks Gramps, I reposted this tidbit to the update thread (may get dinged, who knows).. .and I have to say if Jason1701 is right, KSC are party poopers... their time stamp is the END of the window :) Not too confident are they?

Also I think it's Foust

Chris has been working through with the flu, so he's not in the best of moods, understandably. He's not going to be happy with me repeating that!

I do think we can improve these Party threads, however. This site has always been about quality and I can only imagine what Chris is thinking when reading the last few pages of this thread. There were even some members posting twitter updates from other sites, ignoring the live update thread on this site, during the last countdown. Mix that in with "LOL" posts and you can the problem Chris has with it.

I'm sure Chris will find a solution to improve how this works.
