Only about 10 percent less visitors on the forum, despite Thankgiving. I imagine there will be some frowns at some dinner tables ;)
Ha, frowns would be putting it mildly... I think I got some glazed carrots tossed my way after being asked to pass the gravy 6 times...

Did anyone catch the IP address of the stream that was just briefly visible in iTunes on the stream?
\\see the screen shot.

Take your screenshot in HD.
\\It was, but I had to go 400% zoom to get to that small screen.

For future note, go to livestream version, click the "pop-out" button, expand the window to full screen. Or just take the screenshot when viewing in full screen.
LEO is the ocean, not an island (let alone a continent). We create cruise liners to ride the oceans, not artificial islands in the middle of them. We need a physical place, which has physical resources, to make our future out there.

Are you implying because it was an abort caused by an abort that the couch trade wasn't worth it?

-Bedded down on the couch next to the dog.

The Couch Trade is better than the White Slave trade[1].

The rocket? or your long suffering sweetie who missed Thanksgiving dinner with you so you could work?  (thanks if the latter, and take apologies from everyone here :)... and if the former, please give her the business!)

BTW I no longer like meekGee's turkey logo.. :)

Nothing new over here, I'm used to it.........

Many years ago, in the primitive days of computing, I was told by my ex to be, that if I didn't turn off the Atari, and come to bed, she would give it flying lessons while I was at work... some spouses just don't understand us... oh, for the likes of a Emily L. or Molly M. Then too, as the Scots song so eloquently puts it... "I'm dun for a lack of Sally!!!"
Good night all!!! Another launch to anticipate... thx for the great party...

"lay the charm" - a new discrete way to say "borescope inspection".  8)

I'm glad that SpaceX did not fly Thanksgiving. All my relatives were sitting around the table hoping it would blow up. I guess for the average person, SpaceX is like Evel Knievel. Some want it to go up perfectly and some would rather see it crash.

Maybe time to rename this thread to something with "launch" instead of "restart" in the name. ;)

Well, at least the team gets a lot of experience with recycling and saving the vehicle.. ;)
Not always is a problem a bad thing. It bring a lot of experience, when properly handled. And they do seem to handle te problems very pragmatic. Impressive that they still went ahead with the second count down, for that small chance the props team could clear the problem engines after review of data from first attempt.
Althought the likelyhood was very high they had to do an inspection anyway, still doing another count down (WDR) is never a waste of effort (in terms of experience).
Same with the 10 engines instead of just 2 or three, they do accumelate a lot of data/experience in a very short time. SpaceX seems to grab every opportunity to learn. Not sure if this is unique in the industry, but it does seem to be, given the reactions of several veterans here.
