In addition to the spacex.com page for video there is http://new.livestream.com/spacex/events/2565780

These are always exciting.

Is there any difference between the livestream and the spacex.com/webcast? I visted both and to this untrained eye, one seems like a repackage of the other...

No, they should be the same. The webcast is hosted by livestream. (you can see the livestream logo in the SpaceX stream link)

I find it amazing that there are 10,000+ people watching a logo and (bad? interesting?) music, just waiting to get this party restarted.

Yeah, but it's and ANNIMATED logo!  Every now and then a bright spot runs the sweeping part of the X!

And now live commentary!

Supposed to be going out to dinner. I hope they don't notice the iPhone under the table and the earbuds.

Huge launch! I hope they have their pens out to start writing in all the launch orders after the successful insertion of SES-8!

They are all smiles, but I bet inside there is bundle of nerves...
...and it is funny to see Orbital logo even for a moment in SpaceX broadcast.

Won't be tweeting the @spacex #Falcon9 launch much today, seeing as how I'll be participating in the webcast... o.O

Smart (Avionics integration), well spoken, and cute as a button.  Where to they find these people?

For those of you who think SpaceX is trying to dis Orbital as a competitor, they just did a big piece on the satellite construction.

I'm watching that now on the spacex live stream - its well done and orbital comes out looking good
but
theirs a bit of: Look at the young people excited about working at spacex and by the way we have unicorns.

Yes, the SpaceX commentators seem beside themselves with excitement :)

SES chairman saying they were criticized for going with SpaceX, likened it to when they were criticized for going with Proton :)

I rather liked the video they played with interviews of people who worked on building on SES-8.

Also, Molly McCormick's been doing a great job in the webcast so far, it's really cool to see an engineer with such great public-speaking skills.

Molly just teased the first stage splashdown video again.  "it came in so close we were able to film...  you can see stills of this video on our website"

....

Thanks Molly.  Its not like i got all excited when you mentioned the film again only have my hopes crushed when you simply pointed me to the old still photos.
