It was just announced that the lower connections were completed, the top connection will not be an issue now that the lower ones have been mated.  NSF Livestream has fully ended.

Tony.  Out.
The full live-stream coverage by NSF is linked here:

I wonder how many of those crane operators were former KSC? Or if they had a reunion somewhere?

Still grateful NASA gave me access to the last lift and mate. And to the guys who snuck me upstairs during it.

Anyone can do the job when things are going right. In this business we play for keeps.

LEO is the ocean, not an island (let alone a continent). We create cruise liners to ride the oceans, not artificial islands in the middle of them. We need a physical place, which has physical resources, to make our future out there.

JAFO,

I'm impressed with the post and pictures, you're very fortunate.  I never got a chance to see a launch but I was at Edwards for STS-1 landing.  Of course, I visited Endeavour at CSC several times and witnessed the flyover and parades including the tank arrival and the Endeavor move. (the joke picture of what happens when you park Endeavour overnight in a parking lot). It was actually Westchester and I'm in the crowd below.

I had the same thought about the move last night.  I was thinking the Museum should contact NASA and get an employee list to ask for volunteers (or pay) to assist. They all appeared like they knew what they were doing.

I added a video I made using a collection of media for Endeavour's trip back to LA.  The flyover of LA starts at 16:45.
