1/100 APOLLO SATURN V LUT
« on: 07/22/2013 03:15 am »
Hello,
I'm building the LUT using David Mayer paper model as template, as well as diagrams for Apollo era 1/100 model.
Starting to scratch build the MLP internal structure, levels A, B.
Does anyone know where I can find photos of these levels in order to build the piping network, checkout ground support equipment?
I only have partial 79K30000 sheets for these levels (missing pages 14~22).
Thanks for any help.

I'm building the 144 scale LUT, have 4 umbilicals left and minor touch up stuff.  Comment and pic just for your enjoyment.  It's been about a year project for me.  :o

Thanks for showing, looks very good.  I'd love to have something like that but I'm not sure I ever will.  My patience would be tested trying to build it.
I'll even excitedly look forward to "flags and footprints" and suborbital missions. Just fly...somewhere.

Yeah need to replace the Sat V decals, stupid me, I placed the 2nd stage decals in the wrong location! Plus the initial decals that came with the model were all black, so they sent 1/100 scale at the time cause they were out of the 144...so I need to call them back to get the 144 scale decals.  I put them on cause the Sat V looked so bare without them! ;)

I have the crawler/transporter that goes with this LUT too... :O
Will probably wait till retirement to do that one! ;)

John Cato posted some pictures of a very nice (working!) launch pad used for some commemorations on The Rocketry Forum -- click here for that post.  He also posted on the Yahoo "Scaleroc" group that more documentation is here on another Yahoo group.  You may have to join the group before you can get access.
