According to a comment on 9ifly Chinese space forum, the launch team arrived at Jiuquan on June 15th.
So this means launch is scheduled around late July - early August.
There are also rumors of a SJ-11-06 scheduled later this year (maybe immediately after -05?).

Let's see if we can find a launch confirmation.

OK I am stumped on this one - up till now every search I made about anything linked to a launch turned up zilch.

I am not even sure if there's a launch at all....

(evidences are suggestive, but not conclusive enough to make a confirmation)

Someone on the 9ifly forum is saying 'success'. Doesn't know what this means (launch success?).

I can confirm that it did launch; not sure about success yet though (see the post above me).

According to article up thread these are early warning satellites then?
"According to the Chinese media, this mission involved an “experimental satellite” (...).
However, some observers noted that the Shijian-11 series could be related with a constellation of operational early warning satellites."

The orbits suggest the early warning theory?

I'd be very skeptical about any early warning constellation in LEO. This is generally not done, as you need a very large number of satellites to get the necessary coverage and temporal resolution. No one else has gone the route of early warning in LEO, so I think there would need to be some significant evidence showing why China would go that route.
However, they still may be IR satellites doing imaging or tracking. That's perfectly feasible and something several other countries are doing. But it's very different from early warning.

Thanks. The article didn't add up for me once I saw the orbits that's why I questioned it.

It is not an image of SJ-11 - it is the US STSS early warning satellite.
