http://www.sea-launch.com/missions-q11349-Failure_Review_Oversight_Board.aspx"Appropriate corrective actions have been identified and are currently being developed for implementation. The corrective actions are expected to be complete on the existing flight units in the June/July time frame in order to support a Zenit launch from Baikonur in the August/September time frame and do not involve any design changes to the flight hardware. The corrective actions focus on additional standalone inspections and testing of the BIM prior installation into the Zenit 1st stage engine compartment"

Excellent news.
No engine redesign needed just better inspection of the BIM

Go Zenit! Go Sea Launch!
Hope to see them back in action soon

The one missing piece of info about this launch is the physical size of the AMOS-HP bus - we just know it's more than twice the mass, and 'larger'. Does anyone have the bus dimensions or solar panel span? I've emailed IAI but am not optimistic about an answer..

I dont know but while most sources speak of a GEO performance of 3750 for the Zenit 3SLB, the AMOS 4 should weigh in at 4250. A heck of a performance increase and immediately taken advantage of!

Land Launch was a Sea Launch subsidiary; SIS is a separate company which I think was originally a Land Launch contractor - although I'm going from memory here as I can't remember where I read all this. I'm sure I recall reading about some dispute between Sea/Land Launch and SIS, which ended up with SIS conducting a launch without SL/LL's participation - I think it was an Intelsat but I'm not sure because I can't find the thread/article now.

Found what I was looking for:
http://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?topic=17586.100http://www.space.com/spacenews/spacenews_summary.html#BM_1
"In a ruling published Aug. 25, the court said Intelsat could take the place of Sea Launch as the customer for three launches that Intelsat had contracted with Sea Launch but that rely on Moscow-based Space International Services (SIS)"
"Intelsat has three Land Launch contracts for which payment is still due. The first is a final payment for the June launch of the Measat 1R satellite, a launch that Intelsat had sold to Malaysia's Measat satellite operator.
The second contract is for the Intelsat IS-15 satellite, scheduled for launch late this year, with the third being for the IS-18 satellite to be orbited in late 2010 or early 2011"
I'm not sure who conducted the IS-18 launch, as Sea Launch was still mentioned in the press releases. Land Launch seems to have disappeared completely now though.

And SIS is not a subsidiary of Sea launch as wikipedia states or what?
SIS never was subsidiary of Sea Launch. Before Sea Launch bankruptcy there was agreement between Sea Launch and SIS for performing of Baikonur's Zenit-3SLB launches: Sea Launch gets contract, SIS performs it. Such work was made for Telstar 11N, MeaSat-3a and Intelsat-15. Amos-3 and Amos-4 are pure SIS contracts. Intelsat-18 was Sea Launch contract, but after Sea Launch bankruptcy it was transferred to SIS and then again back to Sea Launch when SIS had not available Zenit-2SB rocket. After Sea Launch bankruptcy there is no agreement between Sea Launch and SIS for performing of Baikonur's Zenit-3SLB launches.
