Where is the launch site for this ?
They would need something of the same size as the North Korean site ? I didn't know they had that.

https://maps.google.com/maps?ll=35.236802,53.950462&spn=0.001183,0.002642&t=h&z=19

far more better than north korean ...
It looks like there will be a second launcher pad in the future.

Already exist ...

Where?
In the satellite picture of September 2012, there is only ONE launch pad at the new complex. Are you saying that in 7 month they built another one?

Does the 'old' Safir launch pad has also a designation like that?

Are you saying that there is a second launch pad for Safir-1 class SLV, right? And that launch pad is the 'Mearaj' launch pad. Or is 'Mearaj' the designation of the «old» Safir-1 launch pad?

Getting back to the engines, it is pretty clear that the "SH-3B" engine refers to the Shahab-3 engine, and that this Simorgh launcher clusters 4 of these engines. It is generally accepted that Shahab-3 is an "R-18" derivative (as is the NoDong), which is a 50% upgrade of the Scud-B, so this launcher is basically a 4 engine Scud with that 50% increase in thrust.

The question is whether the North Korean satellite launcher Unha also uses the R-18 engine, or whether it uses the smaller Scud-B engine.

What is the purpose of posting well known (and old) pictures of SAFIR SLV in the SIMORGH SLV thread?
