  Has that ever actually been done?  They'd have to be pretty thin to cook in a few seconds, to be sure... and probably wrapped up in something, as the bits of concrete would detract from the taste.
  
  But it's just the sort of cowboy thing that you could see them doing back in the Right Stuff days...
