What we already know, but it's the SpaceX presser:

International Space Station Program and SpaceX managers Saturday gave the go-ahead for the SpaceX¹s Dragon spacecraft to rendezvous with the station on Sunday, March 3.

Dragon is scheduled to be captured Sunday at 6:01 a.m. EST by NASA Expedition 34 Commander Kevin Ford and NASA Flight Engineer Tom Marshburn. Once grappled, Dragon will be installed onto the Earth-facing port of the Harmony module by ground experts at mission control in Houston. The cargo vehicle will be bolted into place through commands by Flight Engineer Chris Hadfield of the Canadian Space Agency.

A SpaceX Livestream will be available at spacex.com/webcast.

So they had sufficient prop magin to go high and drift back -- nice luxury. It's exactly the maneuver that Liss described yesterday. They didn't have to take two days to lap forward, they just used the reserve gas to set up a drift backwards. Way to astrogate, SpaceX team!

At the preflight conference, Shotwell said they could cope with a 200x200 km insertion instead of the planned 200x325 one in the event of another F9 engine-out. Maybe they allocated some additional Dragon propellant reserve for that possibility, just in case.

Resilient CRS-2 Dragon in pursuit of ISS for Sunday berthing:

Reviewed the troubleshooting via some of the L2 CRS-2 coverage info and previewed berthing. Will update the article during the milestones.

Here is my rough estimate for approach and berthing timeline.  I checked and didn't find anything in:
- the NSF article that ChrisB just posted
- the SpaceX press kit
- this thread

... so I went to the CRS-1 thread from last October and based off of what I found there:

05:09:06 AM...02...08...33...59...Range: 1,150 feet; 180 degree yaw maneuver
05:14:06 AM...02...08...38...59...Depart 1,150 feet
05:22:06 AM...02...08...46...59...Range: 820 feet
05:32:06 AM...02...08...56...59...Depart 820 feet
06:26:06 AM...02...09...50...59...Range: 100 feet
06:40:06 AM...02...10...04...59...100 feet departure
06:58:06 AM...02...10...22...59...Capture point arrival
07:14:06 AM...02...10...38...59...Go for capture
07:22:06 AM...02...10...46...59...CAPTURE

Note again: the above is NOT today's timeline; it's from CRS-1 in October.

So, based on the above:
Capture - 1h50m = 250 meter (820 foot) departure
Capture - 0h42m =  30 meter (100 foot) departure
Capture - 0h24m = Capture point arrival

Now referencing to the planned 6:31am ET capture:
4:41am ET = 250 meter (820 foot) departure
5:49am ET =  30 meter (100 foot) departure
6:07am ET = Capture point arrival

Times are obviously rough estimates.  I just needed to know what time to set my alarm clock for.  Corrections welcome.

EDIT:  thanks jcm for the confirmation :)  I have now edited and refined the above information.

Do we have an approximate timeline for approach and berthing?

I will continue digging, and will edit in here if I find anything, but I already know it's not in:
- the NSF article that ChrisB just posted
- the SpaceX press kit
- this thread

I'm heading off now to go check the CRS-1 thread ...

I just need to know what time to set my alarm clock for :)

We know grapple is planned for 1131 GMT and begin of berthing ops around 1340 GMT. If it follows CRS-1,  we would have
    R-bar   Grapple minus 2h7m -> 0924 GMT
    250m hold  0947 GMT
   30-m hold   1045 GMT
    Grapple       1131 GMT

Maybe we should start a betting pool over on the party thread?
Oh wait no, I need to crash early if I am going to make 5am EST

The crew is awake and has completed the CCP set up in the cupola--apparently early. Now off to breakfast--for them and for me.  :)

Does anyone know if the visiting vehicle officer display link will be activated during the approach?  It is not now.
