Oh, and time for a declaration: The era of CRS external cargo delivery has ARRIVED! :)

@Lars_J: Yes - two grapple fixtures on each HRSGF, I assume to allow for hand-offs between the SSRMS and the POA.

It's all happening on this stream if people are going to NTV and seeing some grinning actor talking about planets ;)

And it's critical, too! Can't have commercial crew docking with nothin'! ;)

(the NDS/whatever docking adapter is going to arrive at Station in a Dragon trunk)

The SSRMS have backed away from the HRSGFs, so they must have been affixed to the POA. I did not notice right away because of the bad picture.

The alternate (VLC) stream ( http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/isslivestream.asx ) seems not quite as fuzzy to me now as the USTREAM stream. It also sometimes showed a different camera earlier tonight.

#Dragon's external cargo successfully removed from trunk today. First unpressurized cargo carried to station via @SpaceX!

EDIT: Signing off now... Congratulations to SpaceX and NASA!

So are those two tripoddy widgets sticking up at top and bottom the  100 kg of super-secret SpaceX proprietary HRSGF installation hardware, or was the the bar that joins the two HRSGFs?

The arm was being moved when they came up to a LOS (short one for handover).

Great article guys.

Getting such great Dragon coverage here not missing a moment  :)

Well done to SpaceX delivering their first unpressurised cargo to ISS.

Great job by Canadarm too  :)

I liked the extra info about future payloads. I didn't know about that stuff yet.

...and then a camera swap...some color issues from this camera on the other side of the truss...

Someone should look at a SW upgrade to fix this problem.  Could be a very easy fix in SW.
