Actually, a redundant pair of star trackers, along with a pair of lidar units and a pair of thermal imagers.
What kind of wastrels would dump a perfectly good booster in the ocean after just one use?

To be serious, it is interesting that not all systems are redundant on Dragon.
Not only the door, but also the tank pressurization system, which gave such a surprise today.

Do we now have confirmation there is only a single pressurisation system? Because it could also be a design flaw that caused three systems to fail identically. Simonbp suggested freezing as a possible cause.
