Doesn't questions and non updates belong in the discussion thread?

Could someone clarify if the Solar wings covers in nominal mode are separated during ascent, are separated during orbit or remain attached to Dragon ?

After Dragon sep.

Aren't there 5 sets of 4 thrusters on Dragon?

That would mean LOM
Not necessarily. Gwen said before the launch that if there's a problem with the solar arrays, they can make a berthing attempt with battery alone.

Maybe Dragon just can't check Nasaspaceflight.com? (I have been having issues with this site...)

Good to know they're talking to Dragon! Where there's orbit (and comms) there's hope!

4 sets: two with 4 Dracos, two with 5.

(The sets with 5 have one additional forward-facing thruster to help with the deorbit burn.)

"Some issue developed"  referencing Elon's tweet.

Per Elon's latest Tweet, I'm assuming removing the inhibits didn't work?

If three pods aren't working, I doubt it could be an issue like a blocked line - what are the odds of three blockages occurring? But surely if it were hardware common to all the pods, then none of them would be working? Interesting.

With or without solar power, Dragon obviously can't berth without propulsion and attitude control. If/when prop comes online, there's no reason to believe that the solar arrays won't deploy.

It's important to note that, aside from sitting on the ground, being on orbit is the safest place for something to go wrong. Plenty of time to analyze data and work the problem.

Or it could take a while to implement.

From update, issue may be related to change of burn schedules due to accelerated docking time.

Well we could have a very big space debris overhead in 18 hours. If no deorbit, how long will it take for Dragon to decay ?

Maybe they don't want to risk doing that just now. If they have no reason to believe the arrays are stuck, then they have plenty of battery time to fix the problem. And they aren't going anywhere until they fix the attitude control problem.
