Very bad news. Hope you're right about the battery option

Would the fairings being attached all the way up mean it didn't make the needed orbit?

Looks like solar arrays haven't deployed.

Yeah, but they could still try that one attempt to get to station on batteries per Gwen. This sounds more serious.

Who asked about that in the press conference?

My impression is that the solar panels covers didn't separate during ascent. Both not separating means probably a common failure.

Do the panels generate any power if they are not deployed?

May be a comms problem.  They said Newfoundland was having issues prior to the launch.

No mention to the crew yet on the open feed of a problem.

You're sure they are meant to separate during ascent?

No, because they're still covered. Jettisoning the covers automatically releases the panels.

Right you sods! Do not hammer F5, we had 1,200 page request PER SECOND which knocked the server down.

I think the crew is getting a update because a grapple sim debrief went from the open to privatized...

ISS Updates ‏@ISS101
With a problem during Thruster Priming, #Dragon's Computer goes into passive abort and the solar arrays are prevented from deploying.
