I too wish that the instant-crazes for planking, gangnam style, harlem shake etc era would end!! People shouldn't be like sheep jumping on social media bandwagons all the time...  ::)
That's my generation's fault, and for that I apologize.

I don't get it, either.  ::)

Many decades ago, I watched a film in high school about the history of popular music.  It basically consisted of a lengthy series of scenes of old people complaining about the "noise" that the younger generation was listening to, starting in the 1700s IIRC and continuing to the present (of the time the film was created), with one additional scene set in the future, of the now-elderly people born in the 1950s who thought the music their grandchildren were listening to was complete rubbish.

Only this time, they're mostly right!! It used to be that older generations didn't like the 'new music' because they had no context for it. These days; context wont help anymore. My musical tastes go from the 1930s all the way to the 1990s. But its scarcely about music anymore - just loud narcissism and little actual musical skill. 'Fashion' is speaking louder than the music - those who try to combine both rarely succeed.

Ah, now I remember.  Was just thinking about it the other day, but couldn't remember the title for the life of me.

Anyway, back to partying.  Here's to a flawless docking in a few hours!

Go Falcon 9!  I was under the impression this was the vehicle's last flight so I threw something together real quick.  If it isn't, we can always add more  :)

Edit: Seems I've made a mistake, just a minute and I'll have that in order.
Edit2: There we go!

If you don't post that on the Falcon 9's wikipedia page, it'd be a shame.  The Saturn V has one of those, so why not post every v1.0 of the Falcon 9?

I don't think there was anything accidental about it. :)

Normally I'm asleep at this hour.  Not tonight.  I went to bed way early and am now awake and have NASA TV on the iPad.

Not sure what the Harlem Shake is, only that it's some kind of new dance.  Not sure I'll try to catch it on Youtube, although I did see the Gangnam style video several months after it came out.  Kinda funny.  But not as cool as 80's style break dancing, which I will feel like doing after CRS-2 is grappled!

(and if I actually try....my upcoming L2 renewal funds will go to medical bills)

I'll even excitedly look forward to "flags and footprints" and suborbital missions. Just fly...somewhere.

Heh! Just saw a view of MCC-X in Hawthorne, where somebody was just casually riding a three-wheeled tricycle around on the factory floor in the background! Don't think they do that at JSC! :D

Hey Pete, Found your Cyclist ;D

It's not where you start that counts, it's where you finish...

Now that is a Great Quote... sums up the last 2 days perfectly...
