This was 11A57 Voskhod (H15001-04) and launch took place from LC31/2 (actual LC31 PU-6).

Was the second of two launches that day at Tyuratam. Earlier 1966-92A a Molniya 1-4 on a SL-6 was sent up. Wonder if the "visiting leaders" got to see that one too. ;D

Cosmos 130 launch occured from 17P32-6 (probably what you call "SL-6").
Molnia-1-4 launch occured from 17P32-5.

International delegation was very busy, since they also saw launches of UR-100, R-36 and R-16U...
I would be very happy to live a day like this...  ;D

 "probably what you call "SL-6"

Not mine was the old US DOD designation aka A-2-e
Nasa NSSDC lists it as a "Modified SS-6 (Sapwood)"
prefer the 8K78M...

Very nice. It is rather hard to find photos/footage of Soviet launches other than Sputnik 1, Vostok 1, and N-1s blowing up.

(if you saw the History Channel show "Secrets of Soviet Space Disasters", there's a few seconds of the 7/28/60 Vostok failure shown)
