Capture confirmed! That was fun to watch.
...water is life and it is out there, where we intend to go. I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man or machine on a body such as the Moon and harvest a cup of water for a human to drink or process into fuel for their craft.

Wow! Is it too soon to say it looked "routine"? Truly amazing how far they've come so quickly!

It was 26 minutes early.  They're getting good at this.

Was without sound and only with a smartphone - but NASATV streaming without sound and this forum for updates, such as KOS approach, burns etc, made for awesome following.

And woohoo for another dragon!

I told my boss that I would be in late, because I wanted to watch the capture and berthing.  At the rate they're going, I may get in at the normal time.

Like woods170, I'm on the right of the pond.

In fact, I'm a bit cheesed off that they captured early when it looked perfect timing that I could watch on my lunch break.  ;) ;)

cheers, Martin

OK, off to work now.  A little late, but not nearly as late as I expected.

Okay, they're berthed.  Now it's time to open that hatch and get that ice-cream!  ;D

Again, an amazing performance by SpaceX, this stuff ain't easy and the glitches of launch...well at least the mission did not end in what Gene Kranz would have described as a BFRC!

W e must celebrate also the very important verification test of the launch and orbit
with 1 Merlin  taking a surprise vacation under very hot field conditions.
I remember something about a plan to test such event during flight , but surely this was
planned only as a cold test without the cool pyrotechnics.

I think that the biggest compliment I can give the rendezvous and docking is this: it was completely routine and without incident.  That is what SpaceX needs to be looking for: to make success so routine and boring that, as with ULA, people barely notice.

Wonder if they slapped a 'Good Humour' sticker on the side of the ice cream cooler?

Wow, they are really eager to open that hatch... 1 day early. :)

I missed the grapple and berthing due to pesky sleep requirements, but I'm happy to see it all went so smoothly.
