Tillykke, Parabens, Congratulazioni, Zum Glückwunsch SpaceX!

As we watched this coverage I was providing a foothold for my 7-weeks old daughter so she could push herself along on our bed. Baby steps for her but a giant leap for SpaceX and the Dragon Capsule!

Thanks for the excellent, excellent coverage here on NSF.

And congratulations to SpaceX and NASA and all partners that worked to make today possible. Very exciting, and a historical day!

By the way, with just the presser to go before the end of the main events of the day, I know a lot of you want to post your congrats to SpaceX in this main thread, as opposed to being stuck in the Party thread (used to keep this clean for updates).

So if you want to post congrats in this historic thread, I'll let you post once in here. Seems only right!

I'll start. Well done SpaceX. The more I read about this mission the more complicated it seems. Big, big deal to pull this off! ;D

Nice touch. Nearly 100,000 views of this thread in what, 12 hours, amazing. Great coverage, we had it on in the office!

Well done SpaceX!

Stunning achievement, and on just the third F9 flight too! As ever, the coverage has shown what a remarkable place this website is.

If I may on a live update thread, just so full of praise for all on NSF for guiding me through todays events as I watched as much live coverage as possible :)

Chris used the word 'historic', Space Pete it must have been a very special time for you too,it cannot be repeated enough what a fine job this site does of explaining the jargon and capturing the images for history.
from launch to berthing i have found all my answers here, nothing has been as exciting for me since STS-135,thank ya'll :)
not forgetting Elon and his team for putting hope back into spaceflight,risk-takers are the one's who will always be the people to inspire us to look beyond the gutter towards the stars!
I must learn to type more quickly =)

Indeed, Chris.  It has been quite thrilling to follow the Dragon.  Congratulations to all involved at SpaceX and NASA.

Four and half years from awarding a contract to a harebrained California startup to actual delivery at station. Pretty awesome!

It is a rare occasion when one is present to witness history in the making. Congratulations to SpaceX, NASA and all the teams on the ground and on orbit on ISS that made it possible. Good luck for the remainder of the mission!

Congratulations to Spacex, NASA, and all the teams involved on a successful mission thus far and a massive success at docking.

Today represents a historic first in spaceflight, and marks the proverbial "return to flight" of american vehicles to ISS.

To emphasize what has been done here today, as in the past America has had to "return to flight" after tragedy's or the end of previous programs, following the end of STS we had nothing. This time around, the private industry and the entrepreneur in typical American style, have returned us to flight instead.

Were back people, commercial did it, let that sink in.

Want to thank all the folks at NASA in particular for their contributions to this mission. Despite all of the ongoing policy issues at the agency and the abrupt end of STS they still kept at it, and did their best to provide SpaceX with everything needed (as well as to expedite the process of test flights) in order to make today possible.

And now history has been made.

Can't wait for commercial crew!

This has been a truly historic day. I cannot believe Space X managed to pull all this off on the first "full up" dragon and only their third Falcon 9 flight. By any measure, a breathtaking achievement.

May I thank all of you for your posts. I have thoroughly enjoyed your expertise and insight.

Congratulations Space X, and thank you Chris for NSF.

Excellent seeing the collaboration during the On-Orbit operations between SpaceX and NASA. We've still got a few more steps to go, but right now everything's a go.

No stop until wheels stop. Or in this case, splashdown ;)
