Telemetry confirms that astronauts on the space station were able to command on the strobe light on the Dragon spacecraft.

Dragon against clouds/Earth is actually quite visible... unless I'm looking at the wrong thing.

Saw a big flash of light as the sun caught the Dragon's solar arrays at just the right angle!
