The President just called to say congrats. Caller ID was blocked, so at first I thought it was a telemarketer :)

GoogleSatTrack shows Dragon a mere 162 miles from ISS.

That is funny!  :D  SpaceX has to be very proud of this mission and hopefully it will silence the critics of the new commercial space.

Hopeful, yes.  Likely, no!!  Besides, the mission's not successful as yet.  Only once, berthed, unloaded, loaded, and intact return and recovery.  Then it's successful overall.

Respectfully, I do not believe that is the case. Last I knew, only the COTS-2 objectives were needed to be completed for a mission success. These do not include berthing and cargo transfer.

That is/was pre-flight spin control. And I say that as a strong SpaceX 'fan'. While it may be technically true, it will be a disappointment if the Dragon spacecraft will not be able to complete most of the C3 objectives.

I'm very excited to see the first pictures from ISS in a few hours. :)

Hey guys! I'm back.

Got this screen cap off NTV/ISS about 2 hrs ago. Is this a cam on the robotic arm?

Edit: sorry, I couldn't find the rules on image size??

I think they're seeing Dragon now, or were until ISS entered shadow a few minutes ago.  I captured this image from the ISS stream at about 00:25 CDT (05:25 UTC).

Just like on the ground, Dragon has been visible on station as the ISS is in the Earth's shadow but Dragon is still in sun light after reviewing the timelapse video I left going, the camera for Station feed has shifted now though so we wont see it again

ISS is approaching sunrise now, but the camera appears to be pointing in the opposite direction (forward).

If only they turned it around - Dragon should be visible now, as a distant dot.

Yes. The module in the centre left is Node 2, Columbus is on top, and PMA-2 being the dark thing sticking out to the right.

Checking ISS live feed for downlink video:

1) S1 Lower Outboard
2) P1 Lower Inboard
3) P1 Lower Outboard
4) P1 Upper Inboard

Right now all downlinks are active through Ku
