The first abort demonstration is coming up soon or already happened. Will there be any coverage?

No webcast. We should at least get a confirmation of the milestone, however.

I would check the flame trench first, one of the launch vids. showed some big (reporter sized) chunks coming out of it. Might just be turf, but still.

I'm surprised nobody has remarked that SpaceX finally hit a T-0!  (of course, they had to this time... but still...)  I was amazed at how uneventful this launch was.

Just have to add a message here with everyone, I am SO HAPPY for SpaceX, this is really a great start to the mission, it's great to see that the dream is still alive.  Go SpaceX!

When we were out there at the pad collecting remote cameras this morning, it looked in remarkably good shape. The strong back didnt have any visible signs of damage and wasn't even blackened much. The grass directly down stream from the flame duct was chared and there was a good amount of turf and rocks on the perimiter road, but nothing more than that.

great coverage NSF!

Shame about five people completely ignored the clear instructions about who was to cover this to MECO, so as to avoid multiple duplicates. That won't happen again.

Just so long as you always get to be the guy who always gets to type LAUNCH first Chris, that is what is really important.

Ha, that's not important. Just trying to avoid 15 people all posting "MaxQ" at the same time ;D
Chris,

For future reference and to avoid confusion, would SECO be a better time to allow others to begin posting?

As per the Press Kit…

The umbilicals looked very clean. They came off smooth, 1-2-3.

The 1pm Eastern Mission Briefing listed on NASA's schedule is on Friday, 25th...
