Falcon and Dragon in orbit. Orbit 346x297km.
Press kit says target is 310 x 340. I assume this is well within their tolerance.
Wouldn't be surprised if some of the difference has to do with phasing for today's launch opportunity.

And now the feeds are cut off, so we're dependent on NSF for coverage of the other important milestones this morning.  At least there's someplace we can always count on!

Huge congratulations to the SpaceX team this morning, you're well on your way!

SpaceX uses the metric system, which is a plus.  Something NASA won't do.
Errr.... NASA uses the metric system, too, or do you mean launch commentary?

When can we see post launch meeting at NASA?

45 minutes according to NTV schedule, 1 hour according to other source.

How does the deployment of the solar sails work? They are behind a shroud during liftoff. Does that get jettisoned first right?

So after the shroud is gone, the sails deploy via a spring mechanism or is that actively actuated?

It uses a motor (afaik). Also they are just solar panels or a solar array, not a sail.

Was there some sort of venting from the upper stage at liftoff?

It seemed to ignite as it hit the first stage plume, so wondering if it would have been RP1 rather than LOX.

Edit: http://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?topic=28942.msg901718#msg901718

Also, the 2nd stage burn at around 8:20 suddenly showed a much larger, blue-ish plume. Would this have been the point it came into sunlight?

cheers, Martin

Does anyone have any info on the schedule for the stage-2 leftover propellant dump? My concern: will it still be in progress during the coming US flyover, or will it already have been completed?
