In short James Cameron, Tom Jones, Larry Page, Peter Diamandis, Eric Anderson,Charles Simonyi, Eric Schmidt, K. Ram Shriram, and Ross Perot Jr have announced a new company called 'Planetary Resources'.

It will supposedly "overlay two critical sectors -- space exploration and natural resources -- to add trillions of dollars to the global GDP."

They describe it as an "innovative start-up which will create a new industry and a new definition of 'natural resources.'", "a new space venture with a mission to help ensure humanity's prosperity. "

Guess we will all find out April 24th
