I'm kinda disappointed the streaming sources didn't hold up for the live thread. I'll continue to download the 720 feed and post screen caps in a new thread or post.

NASA feed on ustream HD was solid for me.

cheers, Martin

Launch is just the first piece of the puzzle.  I'll be smiling when the hatch is closed having delivered what was needed....

Wow.  Press conference sounds like a campaign event.
If I like something on NSF, it's probably because I know it to be accurate.  Every once in a while, it's just something I agree with.  Facts generally receive the former.

IMHO, that was enough to qualify as a success, everything after this point is icing on a freaking awesome cake.

Now, onwards to mission success!!!

For Falcon 9, yes.  For Dragon, not yet -- the flight just started.

OK well I'm still uploading the video of the launch I made but here's a pic from right before launch with everything all lit up. I was at Port Canaveral.

Can someone tell me why the solar panels on Dragon look white in those images? It doesn't appear to be caused by the lighting/angle.

Presser starts in three minutes. The first 15 minutes of the slot were just a replay of Bolden.

Just watched ISS pass over Louisville Kentucky, followed shortly there after by Dragon and another dim spot of light that i assume was the second stage. It was cool to see it on the completion of the first orbit.

No one else that I'm aware of does full-duration static fires on every stage.
