There's another good pass at around 3:30 Thursday where they will be even closer together.  That looks like the best one I'll get for the rest of the mission.  I really would like to see the two of them together, before berthing.

Nope; completely socked in.   :'(
The Space Age is just starting to get interesting.

Darn, overcast in NYC.  That would have been nice to see.
...water is life and it is out there, where we intend to go. I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man or machine on a body such as the Moon and harvest a cup of water for a human to drink or process into fuel for their craft.

Here's my photo of the launch, captured from the Max A. Brewer Memorial parkway.

Lovely image!
What were your camera details and settings?
Congrats on making the quick trip and being so lucky.

Thanks! It was with a Canon Rebel XSi and the plain old kit lens (18-55mm f/3.5-5.6) since it was the widest lens I have. It's a 197 second exposure at f/8.0. I had the aperture so high because I was concerned about the shot being too out of focus, and by chance I struck upon a nearly perfect exposure! I got very lucky :D

Friday AM's pass was very very bright and went directly overhead. The 2 vehicles appeared as one due to their close proximity to one another.
The pass was mired by about a mintes worth of cloud.  About 3 minutes into the pass I viewed a meteor that streaked slightly North of ISS/Dragon.

Anyone else see this meteor Friday AM?

Were any photos released from instruments (SCIFLI) that monitored Falcon 9 / Dragon launch activities from the North Atlantic aboard Freedom?
Thank you.
