Good to see Lutz Kayser getting out and about. I chatted with him by email a few months back. Seems he's got himself a pacific island down at the equator to play on and is looking for folks interested in using it, as well as getting involved in his OTRAG plans.

Wow, great progress this month.  Reading the monthly Armadillo update is the closest I'll ever get to building a rocketship in my garage.

The new vehicle looks like a ton of fun.  Can't wait until he puts the seat on top....

Armadillo July Update Online

Scrubbed VDR flight, Quad complete, New Electronics, Bad month for engine testing

http://armadilloaerospace.com/n.x/Armadillo/Home/News?news_id=330

They claim to have "finished" their quad vehicle, which is meant to be used for the lunar lander challenge.  Doesn't quite look finished to me...the frame, tanks, and plumbing are finished perhaps.  Impressive work for one or two months of part-time work none-the-less.

"The quad is finished. We just need to get an engine under it and degree in the gimbal actuators."
