Working with @Calspan to build and test models of the fully reusable Talon-A autonomous, liquid rocket-powered Mach 6-class hypersonic vehicle just got real! The model is complete, so let the testing begin! Thank you to the Calspan team and the Stratolaunch crew pictured below.
Some great shots from the chase plane during yesterday's high speed taxi tests. The "hangar cam" also captured a cool image with the chase plane in the background. Next week should be exciting...#aviation #aerospace #hypersonic #thinkbig #breakingbarriers

On standby to see if we are able to fly today. Waiting on the latest weather updates.
No flight today due to the weather. We are still going live to answer questions and see the plane.
The flight was called off within 30 seconds of us announcing the livestream. Always how it goes. 😅
Short video I took this morning, from my office, as we towed the aircraft back into the hanger. Gives a nice perspective on the size of the Roc
Is today the day? We’re prepared, Roc is out, and weather is favorable. We should know in the next hour.
Chase plane up. Roc up next.
Stratolaunch Roc has taken off on a second test flight! ➡️youtube.com/watch?v=hAII8Y…

Some really great photos from today. Too many to post! Roc photobombs Cosmic Girl, Roc just before touchdown, and Roc directly overhead. @NASASpaceflight
Recap from yesterday. Roc flew for 3 hours and 14 minutes at a max altitude of 14,000 ft. and a max speed of 178 kts. Beautiful shot from our chase plane. More tests in the works.
Sharing the progress we are making on our fleet of hypersonic vehicles. We will continue to conduct flight test of our carrier aircraft as prepare to launch these vehicles from its center wing.
