Love this cap, Prober!

The Japanese seem to do this a lot with their spacecraft. I wish NASA did this with the orbiters :)

This is picture book. I show some pages :D

Just like a soda pop advertisement.

I wonder when Coke or Pepsi will start asking to pay for promotional paint schemes on re-supply modules?  ;)  LOL

It's funny to me how all the different Visiting Vehicles use their own unique nomenclature for rendezvous burns.

HTV uses HAM# (Height Adjustment Maneuver), ATV uses HM# (Homing Maneuver), Dragon uses HA# (Height Adjustment) - you'd think the ISS partners would develop a set of common international nomenclature for rendezvous burns.

Sorry if this was answered, but can someone point me to an explanation why HTV takes a whole week to approach the ISS?

I'm not 100% certain of this, but I would say that since the avionics are almost completely re-designed in this variant, they are probably taking their time in doing a full-up set of tests & validations prior to rendez-vous & docking.

Saw the tail end of a broacast on NASA TV she was on the ISS and brought in HTV-2, was very good.

Anyone from Japan know of the JAXA schedule?

Maybe someone from JAXA can give us more information.

I've watched the HTV-3 and it looks like they were 50-70 miles below the ISS for the last several days before the first burn.
