During the last shuttle flights, we were fortunate to have the Google Earth entry/reentry program created by Jester. Now that the program has ended, have been trying to search for feeds that might be used for similar programs for tracking the space station, Soyuz ect.
The idea is to start with a simple tracking program and to expand on it.
Phase A: Simple ISS tracking program.
Phase B: Soyuz launch/entry program
So here are some of the resources that I have managed to gather
ISS position information:
http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/realdata/tracking/Simple program that displays Latitude, longitude, altitude, pitch, yaw, and roll information so should be a good source for the ISS position and attitude information, but perhaps not as accurate as the shuttle information feed. Also has the orbit graph.
Soyuz telemetry:
http://www.mcc.rsa.ru/model_trassa_sp.htmused it during last soyuz reentry, good model but dont know if it is live.
Also here is the STS-135 google earth program from NASA. IF anyone has any better sources or wants to give it a try let me know, I will try to do so as well..... but writing code is new to me.
